The Auckland Blues Club, in association with the The Crib, are thrilled to announce that the Sunday Blues Shows will restart in Ponsonby Road, kicking off on October 9.
The Crib is a Ponsonby institution.
The only bar in the area that is dedicated to live music, The Crib has been providing Ponsonby’s best nights out for over six years.
They are keen supporters of up and coming artists, with open mic nights, the annual singer/songwriter competition, and a recent addition to the programme on Thursdays, called Almost Famous.
This night is dedicated to bands who are just starting out ... all genres of music are welcomed, and the programme has EP release parties, tours and single release parties as part of the line up.
Fridays and Saturdays are dedicated to the younger set with covers bands playing, and 3am closing.
The team at The Crib are excited about the Auckland Blues Club making it their home for Sundays, saying it will “attract the type of crowd we like to have at the Crib on a Sunday – laid back but fun”.
With $10 pizzas all day, what better way is there to spend a Sunday afternoon?
