Help Get Darren Watson And His Band to Memphis
Darren and the band have been selected to represent Auckland at the Blues Foundation's International Blues Challenge in Memphis in early 2012.
It's a huge opportunity and an honour to potentially be involved in representing New Zealand for the first time.
Darren and his boys have started fundraising for the trip and although they have applied to Creative New Zealand for funding will need to top this up.
As we all know it isn't cheap getting a band to the USA from New Zealand and being blues musicians, none of us would have the buck to do it without help.
