Carrington's Cafe is in for a special treat on March 27th with Stingray performing with special guest, Ron Craig.
Please show your support at this show to keep the venue alive.
Ron Craig will probably be best known to New Zealanders as a foundation member of Tommy Adderley’s Headband (a popular act in Granny’s nightclub in Auckland in the early 1970s).
Adderley’s idea for the band was inspired by John Mayall’s Bluesbreakers and jazz influenced extended soloing was the style of the day.
Ron after a stint in LA, has lived and worked in Sydney since then, has toured with Chuck Berry amongst others, operated his own studio and been an indemand guitar player highly regarded by his peers.
His guitar heroes include Roy Buchanan and Eric Clapton and that is reflected in his gutsy style of playing.
Ron is here on holiday and has agreed to play with Stingray.
A lot of people have got together to make this happen we ask for your support in attendance.
