The 2011 Woollaston Nelson Jazz & Blues Festival is now in its twentieth year.

The opening event is headlined by roots rock-reggae favourite dDub.

Christchurch singer-songwriter Mark Vanilau is performing a one time show, and Jennine Bailey performs with a tribute to American musician Eva Cassidy at the Nelson School of Music.

Auckland is equally well represented with Spiral’s fusion of jazz, blues, soul and samba grooves.
BlackSandDiva will be bringing their funk, soul, acid jazz, and sexy organic style all the way from the Queen City’s wild west coast.

The Flaming Mudcats will be introducing Mainlanders to their brand of Blues, R&B and Rock 'n’ Roll.

First-rate dining and lodgings are at the ready.
Activities for everyone from urban walks and shopping, art galleries and museums to kayaking and lounging at the beachside are all there for you to enjoy.

The festival is not-for-profit, so without generous sponsors, supporters and over 25,000 spectators, there would be silence.
