Blues on Film
Chris Priestley has put together a collection of mostly rare and classic blues footage from Mississippi John Hurt ,the Reverend Gary Davis to Howling Wolf, Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, which has all been collected by him over the last 30 years while owning Real Groovy Records, Java Jive and the Atomic / One 2 One Cafe.
Chris will be showing this footage at a blues video night this Wednesday 22nd September at the One 2 One Cafe (121 Ponsonby Road).
There will be no cover charge apart from a koha for the quake jar.
The presentation runs for around 3 hours and will start at 7pm.
