Mahia Blackmore and the Paridise Band
The Auckland Blues Club is proud to host Mahia Blackmore and The Paridise Band on Thursday 26th August 2010, at The Winchester, 24 St Benedit's Street, Newton.
Mahia's Winter Hidden in Paradise Tour kicks off at the beginning of August 2010 with some homegrown Rhythm ‘n Blues Touring from Wellington, Wanganui, Patea and Auckland.
This year she will also be sharing the bill with Katy Soljak and others at The Waiheke Blues Festival end of August.
Mahia Blackmore head lining her show a lady who is no stranger to the blues scene playing with her band and a very special guest gentleman from Melbourne Arnold Tihema.
Together Mahia & Arnold will bring some special R 'n' B original funky swing jazz, rhythmic original grooves.
The Paradise Band comes together with will-seasoned musicians Guitarist Alf Kereama, Bassist Mac McKinnon, Drummer Shane Blackmore who will team up with special guest piano and sax players now that’s a mix for your taste buds.
Tickets will be avaialable on the door for $15.00 and $10.00 to Auckland Blues Club members.
