Last week one of the Auckland Blues Club’s newest members Mark Hill (aka Fatt Max) released his second album ‘Blooze Yeah’ on Amplifier.
Mark is a blues musician originally from the UK but immigrated to New Zealand in 1998 and has been writing, recording and performing for over 30 years.
Mark says that “this album is like coming home really.
Some say that blues is an attitude, a way of life.
It is truth, honesty, makes you happy and sad.
It can cut through life’s crap and give hope and purpose.
It can shape and define, make you laugh and cry, shout and whisper.
But, for all of these things, it can place you wherever you want to be.
I do not profess that this humble collection of tunes will have that affect on those who listen to it, but here’s hoping…”
‘Blooze Yeah’ can be heard by clicking HERE.
If anyone would like to review ‘Blooze Yeah’ we will publish the review in our Reviews section and Mark says that “any and all comments will be very well received”.
