They are intended to give people a fun night out, while supporting the Blues scene.
Non musicians – we need you too!
It won’t work without an enthusiastic audience, your support of the Blues is vitally important... and it's not just as simple as listening in.
Support comes from being there at a gig, but also by paying cover charges, buying tickets, CDs, and supporting the establishments that pay the bills to bring good Blues acts to the Auckland area, not to mention, the musicians themselves.
It's vital that we support our local and regional bands.
If we don't support our local acts, then the venues will stop booking acts and regional and international artists are likely to not get booked and quit touring in this region.
The big name acts go where the support is.
So come along and enjoy some great performances from local and visiting musicians.
